the mind of a 12 year old
To set the scene here, my father and step mother were discussing a terrible man who happens to be involved in politics, and they are hoping that he will eventually be removed from his position. Meanwhile, my brother was listening to his iPod intently.
My father: Well he doesn't deserve his position in politics. He is a jerk.
My step mother: I really do hope that he is taken out of his position...
(My brother takes out his ear buds)
My father: Well when they realize how awful he is, they'll make sure he never runs again.
My brother: They're going to cut off his legs?!
